Announcing Fencing Time Version 3.03

Over two years in development, Fencing Time Version 3 represents a huge step forward in tournament management software.  Version 3 provides you with a simple and customizable interface that lets you optimize your tournament workflow, both during and after your event.  Fencing Time also makes it simple for you to deliver real-time information (strip assignments, bout scores, event results, etc.) to the fencers via the web.

A small sampling of the major new features in Fencing Time Version 3 includes:

  • Fencers now support two club affiliations and a country representation
  • A database of referees along with their affiliations and weapon ratings
  • Track referee usage throughout your event and generate usage reports upon conclusion
  • A greatly improved pool-layout algorithm takes into account fencer secondary club and country conflicts
  • Automatically assign referees to pools while avoiding conflicts with fencers
  • Greatly enhanced search options for quickly finding fencers in the database
  • Powerful event competitor management screens allow access to all competitor data during your event
  • Expanded CSV data importing capabilities, including automatic importing of USFA membership lists
  • Live tournament data can now be published to a website in near-real-time
  • Expanded seeding options allow seeding by multiple criteria, including multiple point-list rankings and the specification of "protected" fencers
  • You can now enter detailed team match scores to record the details of each match
  • Scores can be entered for each bout in a best-2-of-3 youth match
  • A greatly improved pool layout screen that is easier to read and more flexible than ever before
  • The active DE bout list has been replaced by a far more useful bout list
  • Newly and improved printed pool and DE scoresheets
  • Barcoded DE scoresheets for quick score entry
  • Detailed pool scores can now be displayed on the secondary display screens/projectors

Version 3.03 is the latest release of Fencing Time Version 3, and includes a number of bug fixes and feature enhancements.
